Single Customer Cells Under Management Exceeds 1 Billion

Boardwalktech, Inc., the leading provider of spreadsheet data management technology for the enterprise and developer of the patented Boardwalk Application Engine (BAE) announced today that one of its global customers using Boardwalk’s next generation enterprise data management for Excel data has exceeded over 1 billion cells under management with Boardwalk.

Unlike other technology which only work at the file level and require email or check-in/out when working with Excel based data, only Boardwalk manages cell-level data from inside Excel on the desktop through the patented Boardwalk database application running in the cloud or behind the firewall. For Boardwalk customers, being able to continue using Excel on the desktop just like they do today has been the key to wide adoption and usage across all users.
